We went to California the last few days. We first went to the ocean and Maddy didn't like it. The weather was cold, it was windy, the water was freezing, and she hated the feel of the sand. We probably won't be taking anymore vacations to the ocean any time soon again. And then we made our way up to Anaheim and saw this nice little park that we thought she might like to walk around in and play. She loved to look at the water and she really enjoyed getting out of the car and walking around for a while. The next day we made our way to Hesperia and visited with Ally (Maddy's birthmother), Justin, and the Ritters. It was a great visit. How grateful we are for Ally and the choice she made for Maddy! We are so blessed because of her! It was fun to see everyone again and they all couldn't believe how big she has gotten. The next day we flew home. It was a nice short visit.
