California

With Ally at the beach

Doug with Caitlyn (Justin's sister) and Hercules the dog

Doug and I with Ally and Justin

We were worried about going down and meeting Ally's family, but it turned out great. We saw the house she is living in with her boyfriend, Justin (he is not the father of the baby). We also met his grandparents, uncle, and sister. They were so kind to us, especially when they openly don't care for our religion. We went to the ocean and went to see the movie Baby Mama. I wouldn't recommend watching this movie with your birthmother, we should have watched Indiana Jones or something else instead, but oh well. On Sunday, we met with her what she calls Mormon family the Ritters, step-dad, and her half siblings. How grateful we are to the Ritters for the prayers and promptings to tell Ally about the adoption process. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful birthmother.

We are getting so excited for the arrival of our little girl. Only 6 weeks and 1 day left!!
