After a very long wait and some miracles, the day for the adoption finally came! We met with the judge at nine this morning and finalized everything for Maddy. The feelings of relief were overwhelming as we finally realized she was now officially our little girl. Later in the afternoon we then went to the Idaho Falls temple to be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. Walking into the temple a feeling of peace and comfort filled my heart. How lucky Doug and I are to have this sweet little girl. We love her so very much and how grateful I was to look at her tonight and realize that we are now an eternal family.
