Spring Break

Cali on her 2nd Birthday

Yeah! It is Spring Break and even better than that it is starting to feel like spring. I am ready for the cold to leave. Doug is training in Boise for the next two weeks and so I am going to Boise for a few days. Other than that we are not going to be doing anything else. In case anyone was wondering about our decision and the girls. We told the department that we would be willing to take the younger three, we just did not feel that raising the oldest was right for our family. They deliberated and the youngest (Kasey) will almost 100% will be going to another family member. They also did not want to make any decisions until they options for all of the girls. So we are patiently waiting for them to find a home for the oldest (Ciera). However, if they find a family that will take the three oldest then we will get none of them. If they find a family that will take the two oldest then we will get Tristan. And if they find a family to take the oldest then we will get Dallas and Tristan. Most importantly, we just want the girls to be happy and to finally have the opportunity for a family. They are so special we can only pray for the best.
I know it is cheesy to write about our dogs all the time but they are so cute. And we recently celebrated Cali's second birthday. She had a good day filled with lots of hugs and kisses from the whole family. She got a cute little sundress and a cupcake to eat. We just love her so much. She is such a happy little dog.

I've been wondering what you guys decided to do about the girls - thanks for posting about it. It sounds like it could be exciting! They would be so lucky to have you as parents!

I don't think that it is cheesey at all to post about your dogs. They are family. Cali is an adorable birthday girl! They grow up so fast! Lilly will be 5 this summer. We are getting another springer soon- Lilly needs a furry friend. She thinks these kids of ours get too much attention :)
